Through every door..

For some reason, I love doors and windows! There are many MANY more doors and windows to come, but here is a little preview of color and personality from my neighborhood..

Anything can be fun when you're 1. with a fun, interesting and funny person and 2. you have a camera! I didn't want to get kicked out of the market so all of the following photos were taken about waste level. :) But it was a fun little experiment with color! Yum yum yum!

Street Art

One really neat thing about DC is that every corner you turn, you find some great art! Here are a few shots I took just walking around this weekend.

I do believe this two-headed chicken of change (delta) is wishing you three times the peace.

You, of course, can interpret it how you will.

Although I'm not a big fan of the gas mask, and the guns, I love that John Lennon and Yoko Ono are peaking their heads out.

This is my favorite. You can interpret this in so many different ways - but this boy has such a beautiful face and it's not ripped down yet.. I find this very powerful.

I love the contrast between the grey and the bright red!
